Raleigh Boat Show 2010
Here are some pictures from the Raleigh boat show. Visited Wade Wagley, Slingshot’s wake sales manager at the Overton’s booth. Then we scoped the boats. The 230 was by far the most impressive. And Congratulations to Matt Schrier to switching to flex. Nice choice buddy.

Today
So today was pretty good and pretty shitty. Well it started shitty and ended up good. First of all, my girlfriend had to wake up at 7a.m. to go to a meeting at her job, which woke me up for a minute and then I had trouble going back to sleep. That wasn’t so bad, plus she came back and cooked me cinnamon buns before I went off to class at 9. Pretty good girlfriend I’d say. But anyways, I hate school. I suck at it really. Everybody hates what they suck at. I have 15 hours and my classes are Operations Management, Principles of Finance, Calculus, Software Application Development, and Information Security. I’m actually dropping the last one tomorrow which makes me feel a little better about the whole situation though. Bottom line, I’m 24 years old and at my age, everyone on earth is pushing me to make up my mind about how I want to spend the next 50 or so odd years of my life. That’s pretty reasonable I guess, but all I really want to do is wakeboard. So I watched Box of Fun, got a call from my buddy Brad Gearhart about getting a new Nautique and about Jason Lee being a genuis wakeboarding photographer and ordered a fucking pizza. Cool. I wish it wasn’t 30 outside right now.
The 2010 Archive
Ok, so although I have a really old mac laptop that I typically use for P2 data transfer to my Mac Pro, I still use it to find sweet videos on the internets and mark them for later viewing on either my girlfriend’s laptop or another laptop that can actually play videos well. As a result it is sometimes hard for me, and maybe some of you who are not viewing this blog, to even find cool videos to scope. So, that being said, I am going to great a video page, of videos not made by me, that I like. As long as the site is still hosting the video, I am going to have a link to view it at my convenience. Because lets face it, these internet vids pump me up. The page will be updated as i find more videos that are dope.

Here is an article that Jason Hudson wrote on alliancewake.com about a local gap we did for NNL. I’m definitely going to revisit this gap this year for more shots. The article is a few months old but I was pumped up when I saw it.

I have mad respect for the filmers in the industry. Whether its dudes like Norbi Vasko and the guy from thewakeplace.com just doing sweet web vids and laying them out for people on wakeworld and alliancewake.com to see, or Justin Stephens making whatever his next awesome video is (and on a side note Justin Stephens makes the best videos in the wakeboarding world, period). One of my favorite film dudes is definitely Spencer Norris from WIT. Hi Light is in my top five favorites. Anyways, he also pumps out some dope ass vids for internet viewers. Here are two recent ones that hes done that seriously inspire me go to out in this february weather and emulate the dogshit out of everything that Jimmy Trask, Jeff House, Derek Grasman, and Bob Sitchel are doing.
Initial post
The best thing about this blog is probably that I don’t plan on telling anybody about it. A lot of pro riders have blogs, like Derek Grasman, Chad Sharpe, Trevor Hanson. They are all really good too and have good content, especially Chad’s blog, I like that one the most. Bottom line is that I’m not pro. I’m a random individual who likes to wakeboard. I’d like to be pro, but frankly I don’t have the resources, raw talent, or time. But, all the same I’m still going to have a blog (that no one knows about unless you search for my name) that makes me seem important haha. Anyways, this is a pointless post, but only because it’s my first. I’m going to put a couple of clips up of me riding in a wetsuit tomorrow probably. Fuck it, this site will be updated more than Teleprompted Anthems will be, but with more pointless shit. I’m not only going to post my videos, but others that i think are dope as well! Have fun pa-rousing my shit whoever you may be. Is it whomever or whoever? I don’t think I ever use whomever.
